Abelia grandiflora is a very useful, long-flowering, semi-evergreen shrub that is ideal for a mixed shrub or herbaceous border where it will add a little extra structure. With attractive, glossy deep green foliage that it hangs on to for most of the year on arching branches, it is perfect towards the back of the border or against a wall, and is ideal for a cottage style garden. In summer it produces masses of small, fragrant, pink-flushed, bell shaped flowers all over the arching branches, these continue throughout the summer and well in to Autumn. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
