The full-frame 45 megapixel CMOS sensor coupled with Canon's high-speed DIGIC X processor ensures superb image quality, up to 20 fps shooting and super-fast AF speed at 0.05 sec., with head, body & eye focus recognition that works on animals, birds as well as humans. A maximum ISO 51200 and -6EV AF gives excellent low-light performance. The EOS R5 camera is also perfect for videographers with 12-bit 8K RAW video recording, while 4:2:2 10 bit 4K footage can be shot at frame rates up to 120p for superb slow-motion effects. The R5 includes a 5-axis image stabiliser that can work together with a Canon RF lenss own IS system to deliver up to in incredible 8-stops of protection against camera shake (when used with selected RF lenses) which is great for hand-held shooting. A magnesium-alloy body and protective seals guard against dust and moisture.
